The weekly rhythm
Check-ins, the daily watch, nudges, and your AI leverage.
From the coach training built into FuelPath. Members and coaches read this inside the app with per-lesson progress.
1Check-ins and cadence
The check-in is your structured weekly read: energy, nutrition, training, stress, sleep, weight, and their own words. Reply to every one in the thread; the reply is the product.
Automate the ask: the Automatic check-in message on your Clients page sends your check-in day message to your whole roster on your schedule (Monday morning is the FuelPath rhythm), and clients with a check-in due see it in a popup when they open the app. The Monday brief lands in your email the same morning: your roster summarized worst first, so you know who to start with.
Set each client's cadence (weekly, every other week, monthly) on their page. Their dashboard counts down to the next one, and overdue check-ins push a reminder and flag in Needs Attention.
2The daily watch
Each client page opens with snapshot tiles: today's intake vs target, last logged, weight, check-in status, and 7 and 30 day adherence. Their day card swipes between rings, energy balance, and weekly nutrition, exactly what they see.
Open food log shows any day of their log read-only, meal by meal. You see what they ate, not a summary of it.
3Messages, nudges, and briefs
The message thread lives on each client's Messages tab, and athletes have a dedicated coach channel with your face on it; they get a notification when you write. Your Messages inbox (in the sidebar and under More) collects every thread in one place, unread first, and the nav badge counts new client messages. Coach nudges send immediately or on a schedule (Sunday night plan reminders write themselves).
Need everyone at once? Message all clients on the Clients page sends one blanket message to your whole active roster (owners reach every athlete in the gym), now or scheduled, delivered like a nudge: dashboard notification plus a push.
Phase transitions mostly run themselves. Last week of a phase: the athlete gets a banner plus one push to review goals for the next phase, and you get notified when they finish. Needs Attention flags anyone who started a new phase without reviewing. When a phase wraps, their recap deck auto-plays (days logged, days on target, body change, top foods, habit highlights, easy wins); echo one of those easy wins in your next message and it lands twice as hard.
Between phases, mini recaps ride your check-in cadence: on each client's due day a short recap plays in-app and ends at the Check in button, so they arrive at the check-in with their week fresh. A halfway-through-the-phase edition fires once mid-block. Quiet weeks get restart framing, not shame, and none of this adds push notifications; your check-in reminder stays the only one.
The Athlete Brief button generates an AI summary of their last few weeks (status, nutrition, body, engine, check-ins, suggested actions) when you need to get current fast. The team digest does the same across the whole roster.
4The assistant works for you
Clients have the Ask button: an AI chat scoped to their nutrition and their own numbers. It explains, it never changes plans, and it routes decisions to you: Send this to my coach drops the exchange into your thread with a notification. Treat those as warm leads.
You also get notified when a client completes a Learn course, and their client page shows Learn progress, so you know who actually did the onboarding.
