FuelPath ("we", "us") is a nutrition coaching platform delivered through gyms. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: your data exists to power your coaching, we do not sell it, and we do not run ads.

What we collect

Account information: name, email, password (stored as a hash), and an optional profile photo. Coaching data you or your coach enter: your nutrition plan and phases, macro targets, food log entries, body weight, body composition, weekly check-ins, progress photos, messages with your coach, day types, streaks, and achievements. Billing: payments run through Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers. Technical basics: session cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How your gym and coach see your data

FuelPath is coached software. The coach you are assigned to and your gym's owner can see your coaching data (logs, weight, check-ins, photos, messages) to deliver the service. Coaches at your gym who are not assigned to you cannot. Members of other gyms can never see your data. Private coach notes about you are visible to your coach and gym owner, not to you.

Service providers we rely on

We use a small set of processors to run the product: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and Anthropic (generates your daily recap and your coach's team digest from your logged data). Food search queries go to the USDA FoodData Central and OpenFoodFacts databases; only the search text or barcode is sent, never your identity. Each provider processes data only to provide its service to us.

How we use your data

To run your coaching: showing your targets, computing trends and adaptive suggestions, generating recaps and digests, and notifying you and your coach. To operate the business: billing, support, and aggregate, de-identified statistics (for example average adherence across a gym). We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

Retention and deletion

Your data stays while your account is active. Gym owners can archive a client (data kept, account hidden) or permanently delete one, which removes coaching data, photos, and the login itself. To exercise deletion, ask your gym owner or email team@fuelpath.app. Some billing records must be retained as required by tax and accounting law.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is enforced per row in the database (each user, coach, and gym can only reach what their role allows), progress photos live in private storage, and payment data stays with Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but access boundaries are enforced at the database layer, not just in the app.

Your choices

You can edit your name, email, and photo in Settings. You can ask us or your gym for a copy of your data, corrections, or deletion at team@fuelpath.app. You can stop using the service at any time; subscription cancellation runs through the billing portal in Settings.

Age

FuelPath is not directed to children under 13, and coaching accounts are intended for adults. Minors may only use FuelPath through a gym program with a parent or guardian's consent.
